Here is the deal...I am going to enter some of my photography pictures into the County and State Fair. The deadline for the county fair is a few weeks away, but I am just not sure what pictures to enter. I can enter Four pictures per area (the areas being monochrome and color) The monochrome (black and white) wont be that hard because I don't have too many black and white, although I can change the pictures to be black and white if I want...the color section is where I have a hard time...and that is where you can come in. Please help me by picking your three favorite pictures out of this group. I have other pictures, but for lack of time, this is the first round. Each picture has a number underneath them to help you relay you decisions. Please involve anyone you think and let me know what ones you like by posting a comment. Everyone and ANYONE welcome and encouraged to participate! Thanks for you help!!

Oh lila- this was NOT easy
I give 1st place to #4 because the colors are so vivid and it just looks amazing!
2nd place goes to #1 because it is so rare and amazing and in all the times i've seen it this was the first time i realized it was a CATERPILAR on a LEAFY THING and not a boat. (yeah, the first time was THIS time...)
and 3rd place goes to #3 the bridgefalls, because i think it makes people want to stand on that bridge and look on both sides of that thing!
Honorable mention goes to #13 because you know i love that one but i kind of think people out your way would be jaded towards it and not really see it's amazingness cuz they go see that type of thing all the time.
Honorable mention is also awarded to #10 with the lady bug, It's amazing, but not quite so amazing as the other shots because it has less color and the blades of green grass on the right throw me off

Number 6 is my favorite...I love waterfalls. My next favorite is number 8 well... I have to like that one it was taken at my house. My 3rd choice is number 18 I love the reflection in the water!

Believe it or not, I had the very same idea.........I have wanted to enter #8 (my present) in the Idaho State Fair ever since I received it. I never even thought of asking your permission but of course I would have entered it under your name. What do you think? As for my 3 choices, #8, #1 and #9.........I've always loved that one. All of your pictures are amazing to me and I think it takes a gift not just a camera to see the angles and potential that you do. Love ya, Rana

okay, first of all... We are flattered that you would consider a photo of our faces to enter in a photography contest. Hope we don't screw it up for you! You know I LOVE that picture!
Yeah - I might be changing my mind again when I'm finished typing this - very tough to choose. But here are our votes:
1 - #1, caterpillar - very modern image, clean lines, off-center just right, you have to study it to figure out what it is. love it.
2 - #9, stormy barn - Matt told you to take the picture... we couldn't NOT vote for it! good memories from that day, by the way! oh, we love the way the strength of the storm is in competition with the stillness of the farm. love it.
3 - #8, farm cats - I don't like cats, Matt does. So I don't know why I've always loved this photo. I think it's the way you've got it centered and also the way the colors aren't overbearing of each other. love it.
1, 8 and 15 are my favorites. But its a hard call.
7, 9 and 16 I think are the best for the fair - they just seem really artsy and striking. Of those, probably 16 is my fave.
I'd want prints of 3, 4 and 13 as well. I LOVE landscapes. Gu knows :-).
my favs are #18, #10 and of coarse #1.....
I would have to say #6, #18 and then the Black and Whites are awesome as well. I never knew I had so much arm hair! I have some sexy hands and Dean has some cute little feet. The Milners.. that's a good one as well. I like them all! Devin
