Have you ever been to a parade where the majority of the people in it are old? Well, look no further because now you will get a chance to see the most Red Neck Parade ever seen thus far in my existence. (Can you believe it? Red Necks, even in Oregon)
What better way to start our adventure then with a mother/daughter team of PURE RED NECK? WHoooEEeeee that is a sight for SORE EYES! (hahahaha)

These boys were having the time of their life chasing the horses as they galloped through the streets at this Red Neck Parade....JPG)
Now, I would say that the norm for small city parades is to have some sort of school marching band to represent the city....however, this was not the case. This was actually the ONLY marching band in the entire parade. (NOTE THE AGES OF ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE MARCHING BAND & COLOR GUARD)

And then you finish this Red Neck Fest '07 with some weird devil people....don't know what to tell you except that it was pretty freaky...I am grateful they didn't try to pull me us on that stupid float and mark me for death....UGH!

So if you ever think your city is Red Neck, don't worry, you are not alone....the pictures say it all(and might I add that it was quite the find)...YIKES!

ummm.... the only thing this DOESN"T explain is what the heck this float was supposed to be. I seriously can't put heads to the old people in devil hats passing out balloons!
The thing that was disterbing about this float is that these old people were bring people from the crowd up and putting them in that head lock thing, at which point they marked their forehead. It was pretty weird...I couldn't even tell you what they were promoting, because I don't know.
I will try to get the other pictures tonight, but pay close attention to all the old people you see in the pictures...
