Play Ball!!!

To get to Seattle from the place we were staying we had to take the ferry...it was a beautiful day and the ride was pretty fun. Joel decided to feed the birds that were flying around part of my sanny, but it only lasted for a moment because, the bird seen below, bit his finger and he decided that the pain wasn't worth trying to feed them any more like that. So he just threw the bread in the air...NERT!

The main reason we went to Washington last weekend was to watch the Red Sox play the Mariners. As you probably know, Joel is a crazy Red Sox fan so we arranged to go see them play during this series. We had plans to watch two of the three games, but then plans changed...which was okay. The Red Sox lost the game we went to, but the next two games they played against the Mariners they dominated them!

After the game got over, we had almost two hours to kill before our 12:50 am ferry came to port. Joel and Logan were totally game for walking around Seattle late at night in hopes to find a store that had playing cards we could buy...it took a lot of time for me to warm up to the idea, but then after a few minutes of being "irrational" I gathered myself and away we went. The night was highlighted with drunks, drunks, and more drunks. What a great city!!

While we were staying in Washington, we didn't really have a place to sleep so we decided to take our truck so that we could sleep in the back of it....(not a fan favorite).....after the third night of sleeping back there it wasn't so bad, but again I am not a fan favorite. Joel loves it....
