Happy Birthday to JOEL!!

Well Joel's birthday fell on the same day as the first game of the season for Boise State. We had been trying to decide if we wanted to spend money to get tickets to the game or if we wanted to just have a huge bash with our friends and family members. After realizing that it would more exciting to watch the game with friends, we set up a party at Joel's brother's house. It was super crazy cool....HOWEVER...Joel and I were heading over to buy some proper game wear when we heard the radio station we were listening to announce that they were going to hold a drawing in a few minutes for Boise State Tickets. Being close to the area they were talking about, Joel and I headed over for free things and to enter to win tickets. After waiting around for a few minutes, the drawing was held and JOEL WAS THE FIRST ONE PICKED!! We were so shocked and excited at the same time! But then came the little dilemma, we had two tickets to the opening game of Boise State............................................................................

Knowing it would be pointless for us to go, Joel gave the tickets to his parents, and we enjoyed the game at the party!

Joel had some great friends come to the party and we had a super crazy fun time!

Our really good friends, Garrett and Danielle, helped us acquire a personalized jersey for our child to wear someday.....For now it is proudly displayed on our entertainment center, but it may find itself in a frame on our walls sometime in the near future!
