Our Tribute to the Shoe Tree

Once, a must stop attraction, which brought thousands to this place...now sits a sad lonely graveyard for the infamous shoe tree. Reasons of death at this point are unknown, but signs of the prominent landmark still exist with one small shoe left hanging from the dry, weary branches. Along the rocks, scattered across the ground you will find countless cut shoe laces, as yet another reminder of what this community has lost. Who would do such a heartless act?? Why this tree?? These are all questions that we are left to ponder...
