Hello from Alaska everyone! Joel and I are enjoying our time here and have fallin in love with the area. It is so beautiful and we haven't even seen anything other than the city.
I am so excited about some news I just read and thought I would share it with you. I have been selected to participate in the Piloting for the BYU-Idaho online degree program in business!!! I am one of only 40 students who was selected to do this! I am very very very excited because I can now tell people that I am actually working towards one of my major goals in life, which is to receive my bachelor's degree. I have had many opportunities to get a degree for colleges in Oregon, however I have never wanted to take any classes because they are so liberal....for about a year I have been waiting for BYU-I to introduce an online degree option. I AM SO EXCITED!

Yay, congrats. :o) I knew that program was on its way to be created since my scroll-staff days. Looks like you get the honor of being among the first to check it out. You're so lucky all the time. Seriously.

I would settle for rubbing Joels belly. That is great news about the school. You have to get out of the city! You do not have to go far but eagle river and wasila are nice. Even a drive to Seward for ice cream is good. You can even be in Denali in a couple of hours.
