M.U.S.C.L.E. men

Joel has been begging for M.U.S.C.L.E. men for probably close to a year now....every time we looked on EBAY for them, we couldn't believe how much money they were going for because they are considered a collectors item now. We always looked, but never bought. Finally one day I decided that I needed to "keep things fresh" (aka continuing courtship and surprising my spouse) in our relationship and spontaneously purchased a whole bunch of these toys. My idea of being tricky and to surprise Joel went down the hole when I was so excited I couldn't keep it a secret that I had a "plan" in action. I don't know if Joel forgot about it, but I am sure he knew if he was watching the checking account without me mentioning anything about it.........well after over 20 days of waiting for this package to arrive, it finally came. I wanted to do something cute to make it even more surprising to Joel, but I was just too anxious to give them to him...so over the course of two-three hours, I gave him all 79 of the M.U.S.C.L.E. men that came in the package. He was very very excited and has had a great night playing with them. He even told me what new things he needs to buy to have even more fun with them and to make them fight better...aka wood blocks of all sizes and marbles. There is no question that Joel is a kid at heart! Make sure to watch the video below, I totally busted him playing! It is so cute!

*This is Joel now. If you don't know what these are, they are toys from the 80s. I used to collect them and play with them when i was 4-5 and I've missed playing with them since. I have the best wife ever to surprise me with them today! I thought i might get a few for Christmas but I didn't think she'd get me this many of them and this soon.

For the record, the hand is one of Joel's favorite pieces.....
