A little bit more than the "sickies"

As Aleta eluded too in her past comment on the new site, I indeed am struggling yet again in my health. This weekend's adventure was to the ER...so much fun I can hardly express myself. After having uncontrollable pain the past three days, we decided it was best to go to the ER, encase something serious had occurred....after a cat scan, ultrasound and an IV, the doctor asked..."have you heard of endometriosis?" Hahaha, funny doc, don't you read all the information that they make you state when you check in? Well, this month's diagnosis is that I have sever pain due to endometriosis. Still a little high from the pain killers, I thought it would be best to let you all know that I am doing alright, considering I have had a blessing, and have a loving husband who brings me applesauce and sprite when I yell for it. It is love really. Tomorrow I am going to hopefully see my OBGYN and try to get control of the pain....I vote to just take my bloody insides out, but Joel keeps me sane by reminding me that we should stay positive just encase there is a chance that we can someday have babies of our own.....throwing that card in there is a cheap shot, but it is the only reason why I agree to endure this much pain month after month....with the hope that someday, this pain will pay off....we will see. Like I said, hopefully we can get into my doctor tomorrow and talk over some solutions...until then, feel free to drop on by and say hello...there is a chance however that I will be out of it due to the pain meds I am on.
