For the past few months Joel has been very entertained by the little toys you can place in the water and watch them expand into a larger item. We have had countless water growers in and out of our house because of this. I enjoy watching him prepare the up of water and over a weeks time, seeing how excited he gets as the objects grow larger....
But, we found the coolest water growing items ever...(at least in my opinion)
They are little eggs that hatch into turtles. Once they hatch out of the egg, then you put them in a larger bowl and they grow to full size. It really made it fun to watch because you got to see the progression of a hatching egg over time. It took about a week for them to be hatched enough to go into a new bowl of water...super fun!
Last week was pretty much a crazy weather week all over the nation...here in Oregon, we actually got a "GOOD" amount of snow in a very short time. These pictures below were taken with about an hour time difference. Joel and I played around for a few minutes, but other obligations prevented us from staying out there too long...which is a good thing because we wouldn't want to catch a cold or something....
One of our new favorite games to play with people is Simpson's Clue. My brother and his wife got this game for us as a Christmas gift. It is tons of fun, and really brings a new twist to the regular clue...

i love your header- u do the cutest things with your computer!
WE ABSOLUTELY love the turtles! Seriously that's the coolest- and it's hard to get me too excited about that type of thing, but i really do love those!
we've been getting a lot of snow too- and the weirdest part has been that it's sticking around!
We're supposed to warm up this weekend, though- so we'll see!
You guys are so funny. Logan is way into Spiderman right now so he probably would have loved that one.
The turtles are the coolest, I didn't even know they made that kind of thing, tells you how with it I am in that dept!! Even though I loved the snow, wasn't the weather today (Sat) great??!! I guess i'm ready for Spring. I think i'm mostly ready to get out of the house and play outside. So, I have to tell you Ainsleigh talked about playing peek-a-boo with you the rest of that night and into the next day. She even requested to watch a slideshow of pictures of you on our computer (which I have like one picture of you), I totally should've thought about the blog. So, you've apparently won her heart over completely now - it took her like an hour to stop talking about how she wanted to see pictures of you. See you soon.
