Our Weeks-end Review

This week has been pretty busy for us. (Well, it seemed like it anyway)...Wednesday we had the elders over for dinner....Elder Bias was getting transfered to a new area on Thursday, so we let him pick his meal of choice (Little Ceasers). We promised Elder Nicol that we would have an easter egg hunt for him, since he never had one this year...so we also treated them with a fun hide-and-seek the eggs filled with candy.

Thursday Joel and I went bowling with his work as a fund raiser for Junior Achievements. It was a lot of fun. I think I forgot how much fun it is to bowl with a great crowd supporting every gutter ball and strike you get. We made it home just in time to watch the Office, but had to wait until Friday to watch Survivor....can I just say that Survivor Fans vs. Favorites is the craziest Survivor I think I have ever seen? I have so many emotions this year with Survivor...I hope that next season is able to compete with this one...boy, it sure is crazy!

Joel bought me flowers last week, and I love them. I am learning how much I love to receive flowers from him. He is so sweet and so good to me...I sure lucked out!

This coming week is going to be some-what normal. Our dearest friends, Heather and Jesse are moving to Portland this week, and we get the privileged of watching their three boys Friday, Saturday, and Sunday while they unpack and try to organize their new living quarters so that the kids will adjust easier...I hope that all goes well with that.

We meet again with our caseworker May 8th, we are getting closer....My birthday is coming up quickly too! I can't wait, 24 years old...the joys!! Joel and I are planning a party and dinner celebration.....we are going to have an adults only dinner at a very nice restaurant here in town on May 8th (a Thursday 1: because my birthday is on a Sunday and 2: because it may not be as crowded then), and then have a celebration, hopefully May 10th. The joys of life.
