A hidden treasure, that I never knew existed....

Kimber told me about going to the iris gardens last week, and boy am I grateful! Keizer is known for their Irises. Every year they have the Iris Day Festival, and each year I have pretty much blown it off because, well, Iris flowers are not my favorite....I never knew what I was missing...All through high school and until this weekend, I never knew that this place existed. I am kicking myself for letting this go by the wayside for so long. I have never been to a more prettier garden in Oregon than this one. It was like being in heaven...the colors were amazing, the landscaping was a dream, and the smell was so wonderful!

Joel and I had a chance to go to these gardens yesterday because I was doing a photo shoot for a friend. I couldn't believe what I had been missing....because I took so many different pictures, there are about four posts below this one that are of the specific flowers I photographed. if you are down this way the next two weeks, you have to go to this place....it is AMAZING!

Someone needs to pull those weeds. No seriously, you have a great eye. Those pictures were fantastic. I can see why people want you to take their pictures. I am sure if you can do that with flowers, you can do it with kids. Very talented!

I don't know how I'm going to be able to choose. I would like to have a variety of prints done for my garden room. Too many beautiful flowers!
