Six Weeks and Growing like a Weed!!

I didn't know about this picture until I just loaded the ones I had been taking on the computer...how sweet is this?? I LOVE IT!

Calvin had just spit up on Joel's stomach, although you can't really tell...but it was really funny!

**Chelsi took these bottom two pictures yesterday while I can giving Calvin a bath, how precious are they?!?! She did a great job!!**

Wow, can you believe we have had Calvin for a month tomorrow?!?!? What a blessing, joy, and miracle he has been in our lives. I can't even remember when I was this happy! Granted, since he has been sick, I have become quite tired, and at times frustrated because I don't know how to make him feel better...after everything I have been told my the doctor, he still has his hard nights, and it breaks my heart!

Calvin is getting so big. I already want another baby so that I can have a small one to hold and snuggle with! He is such a joy in our lives! I am very grateful that we have cameras because we are able to capture precious moments as they happen and remember then always.

The transition to motherhood has been amazing! At times it is hard for me to even remember the life I had before Calvin. I remember my frustrations with work, and job hunting for Joel, but being a mother has come so natural for me! I LOVE IT!!! Calvin is such an amazing little guy...he is so handsome! I loose track of time just staring at him all day! Did I mention that I LOVE HIM SO MUCH?!?!?!!!!

I can't wait to adopt another child someday! Going through this experience has given me a greater understanding of the Plan of Salvation and the atonement. Life has a whole different purpose now that Calvin has become part of our family. It is amazing!

Just this last week, Calvin has been more alert and looking at things as they move. The highlight of this was when I put him in his crib for a rest and started his mobile....he just stared at it, watching it go round and round...so cute! He is starting to discover his hands, although he has yet to grab anything at his own digression, but it is still adorable when he goes to suck on his fist or a finger.

Life couldn't really get any better than it is right now! We are very excited to start a new adventure with our lives in a few weeks. Although sad to leave the friends and family we have around, we are so stoked about Wyoming! I have to say that the easiest transition for me is knowing that we have some awesome family members close by....I am excited to get to know my sister-in-law Jody on a more personal level, and to have Calvin growing up with his closest cousin Cannon! It is going to be a lot of fun!!
